Dales Project Manager, Sam Frost, has graduated with a 2:1 in Manufacturing Engineering BEng (Hons) from Sheffield Hallam University, and officially completed his apprenticeship!
Sam joined the business in June 2019, keen to pursue a career in construction & manufacturing having completed his ‘A’ levels. He was attracted to the apprenticeship route as it “Allows you to earn as you learn and to gain a degree without being burdened with debts”.
During his apprenticeship, Sam completed a foundation degree in Integrated Engineering and then completed another year of study to convert this qualification into a BEng (Hons) in Manufacturing Engineering. He spent one day a week studying, and the remaining 4 working on-site gaining valuable hands-on experience.
Reflecting on his apprenticeship, Sam commented one of the biggest benefits is “Feeling settled within the company before you become a permanent team member”.
This amazing achievement is testament to the hard work Sam has put in over the past few years, and we look forward to seeing all the great things he will achieve in the future. Well done, Sam!
