At Dales, we are always looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint.
We recently invested in low energy LED lighting to replace the less efficient conventional lighting across all our offices and factories located at Crompton Road, Ilkeston.
Even though the LEDs are ‘low energy’, the lights are brighter than their predecessors. This has resulted in a better working environment for all our colleagues.
Not only is it brighter, but the new lights also reduce our carbon footprint by providing an energy saving of up to 20% per year during winter, and up to a 40% saving in summer.
This investment is another example of our Environmental Policy in action, and our ongoing commitment to achieving net zero.
