This year, National Apprenticeship Week runs from the 5th to 11th of February. It provides a wonderful opportunity to honour and acknowledge the accomplishments of apprentices, as well as the positive influence apprenticeships have on communities, businesses, and the economy. The theme for this year’s National Apprenticeship Week is ‘Skills for Life.’
Dales are thrilled to be part of the celebrations, acknowleding the journeys and successes of our six former and current apprentices. Our apprentice team represents a wide spectrum, from craft to degree-level apprentices, to those who have recently embarked on their apprenticeships to others who now hold permanent positions within the business. We believe apprenticeships play a crucial role in bridging the divide between formal education and practical work experience, making this years theme feel particularly fitting.
Dales Apprentice Team:
Our former apprentices are David Pritchard BEng and Sam Frost BEng who have both completed Level 6 apprenticeships in Manufacturing Engineering (BEng), Oliver Wright, who has completed a level 2 Supply Chain & Warehouse Operative apprenticeship and Alex Millington who has completed a Level 5 apprenticeship in Integrated Engineering (HNC), and hopes to achieve his Manufacturing Engineering BEng in the near future.
Our current apprentices are Steven Alldridge who is studying a level 3 apprenticeship in Metal Fabrication and Ashley Davis who is studying a level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration.
To mark the occasion, we sat down with four of our apprentices to discuss all things related to apprenticeships. You can watch the video on Dales Youtube channel.

This week, we have also shared interviews with all 6 apprentices across our social media. You can keep up to date by clicking below.
