Suitably qualified engineers design products under the auspices of the quality assurance standard for design and manufacture: ISO 9001.

Each project is assigned to an individual engineer under a Project Management system. This offers the specifier a continuous, accountable technician from initial contact through to project completion.

Selection of materials

Our experience both as engineers and manufacturers allows us to select the most appropriate material types and thickness for each application. The most popular finish to our products is polyester powder coating, although PVF2 and anodised finishes are available.

Special Components

Dales are able to design and manufacture complete eaves systems that are curved in plan. These systems create interesting design difficulties and should be discussed thoroughly with the technical services department before detail drawings or specifications are finalised.

Durability

All Dales’ systems are designed to give a low maintenance life of 40 years in rural and suburban conditions, or 25 years in industrial conditions. For marine environments the project requirements should be discussed to assess the best material and coating system.

Loadings

Both gutter and fascia soffit systems are designed to accommodate loadings in excess of those induced when the gutters are operating at full capacity.

Thermal Movement

Dales design all systems to accommodate the extremes of temperature typical of the UK. For overseas projects, the extremes of temperature specific to each country are used as the design criteria.

Maintenance

Dales’ systems are designed to give exceptional product life with minimal maintenance required to achieve this. However, as with any product to ensure it remains as trouble free as possible periodic cleaning will be required from time to time. Maintenance schedules to suit each project are available on request.
